ABOUT US

Rise Up.  Speak Up.  Joint Up.

Founded in 2023, we take immediate action for impactful policy changes on the local, national and even global levels.  We strive to hold our leaders accountable, and to educate and empower others to take action.  Our approach has been inspired by the citizen agency increasing efforts and cause progression of the Oakland Civil Liberties Alliance, founded by Richard Lee.  In 2004, Oakland, CA, deprioritized adult cannabis offenses to the lowest law enforcement priority, even enabling local low volume cannabis sales more than 10 years before California legalized it in 2016.

We come full circle, honoring our roots and legacy 30 years after our founder as a four year old endured atrocious defamation and warring siege due to reinforcing strong prejudice against our herb in the unethical War and eradication against it.  Inspired by peace memorial rallies that followed with Christian emphasis, we are finally be able to provide swift peacemaking measures for our God-given herb many feel is inalienable.

Join us today as we dismantle the demonization, marginalization, war, and disenfranchisement of the past century, and help lead in an encompassing new paradigm based on wellness, liberty, entrepreneurship, and good will!

A Peak of Injustice

About Us: About Us

Our founder's defamation for the greater bad

After president Bush declared another War on Marijuana, Gary Shepherd, Mary Jane, and their four year old son Jacob Elihu was atrociously defamed and sieged upon, resulting with Gary being executed for his public presence and beliefs of his therapeutic cannabis garden where Mary Jane and Jacob were not only falsely labeled as hostages but intimidated to remain by enforcement for seven hours to justify their means to their end.

Gary Shepherd, a Purple Heart awarded and disabled Vietnam Veteran—was executed without due process, defending his life, liberty, and happiness. Before his staged execution, Gary had been expelled from local churches for expressing his interpretation of cannabis being biblically supported as a gift from God and advocating for peacemaking and neighborly love in our communities in the face of oppressive governance and the war on our God-given herb.  He openly shared his personal cannabis cultivation on his property with the sheriff’s office, establishing a precedent for transparency and willingness to engage, despite the State’s antagonistic actions.  Incidentally, a higher-ranking officer associated with police brutality, Gary had overcome in court, may have exacted vengeance in 1993 when he assumed command after an anonymous call was made about Gary’s plants and the captain was conveniently on vacation.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, the commanding officer nevertheless dishonored hostage protocols, denied engagement from concerned neighbors and community members including family members and even a local deputy trained in F.B.I. negotiation who was our cousin, declaring they would handle things their way.  Our cousin, the deputy, soon realized they had a kill order against my father.  Prior to the anonymous call, the begrudging stand-in leading officer had engaged in an illegal garage breaking and entering, leaving behind dog prints and a Kentucky State Police baton.  My father, near the time of returning their baton, expressed himself by writing “F THE LAW” on our garage, a sentiment that is dishearteningly common in the often marginalized and demonized Cannabis movement.  Hence, our aim is to “FIX THE LAW”!

As helicopters aggressively swarmed above his property, Gary symbolically left a low-caliber rifle in our front yard, making his stance clear that their unwarranted actions were tyrannical.  Despite provocations from low-flying helicopters, Gary never pointed the weapon at anyone, even when such law enforcement actions affected his son, and officers showed no interest in his safety or "rescue" as he ran outside the fenced property.  Jacob quickly realizing the harm his family faced, found and wove a sword through their gate, giving him only short lived peace of mind.  Nevertheless, they sent the on-site ambulance away when the "Death Squad" arrived to execute, and a barrage of military equipment, concussion grenades, and machine pistols left Gary bleeding out footsteps away from Mary Jane and Jacob.  Officers jumped over the fence, to Jacob's distraught dismay, and slapped hands celebrating the commencement of the killing of “Jesus,” as they referred to Gary over the radio.  As a four year old believer, who his retired Christian father raised, Jacob was in shock and covered in the blood of both parents.

While, for more than a decade, Mary Jane advocated and sought justice from Kentucky, the United States, and We the People, even after teaming up with grandfathered patients who received 300 cannabis cigarettes monthly from the federal government, she did not experience any justice or compassion from the State or Nation, and illegally treated her forced illnesses, such as PTSD from the atrocity, and chemotherapy treatments with cannabis oil while Kentucky was too complacent to implement or educate about their KDA Cannabis (nutraceutical) program.  At least now, the extreme marginalization, disenfranchisement practices, and lack of regard for human welfare our government parades with its cruel and inhumane cannabis policies can finally be put to an end with your help.

Mary Jane Peacemaking is set to revolutionize the conversation surrounding this versatile plant, for our communities and the more than 48,000,000 Americans affected by unfounded extreme marginalization, disenfranchisement, governmental demonization, and domestic war.  We serve to bring the needed unity, representation, and enfranchisement inclusion into liberty for a right many can feel is an inalienable one granted by the Creator.

Join us—30 years after our atrocious defamation, siege, and execution; 38 years since Jack Herer published his book, "The Emperor Wears No Clothes", introducing the general public to the War on Hemp.  The name marihuana, marijuana, has been used tyrannically to disrupt alternative communities and cultures such as Asian and Hindu migrants, Mexican immigrants, blacks, and whites often labeled hippies, with no legitimacy and often conflated to drugs such as opium and crack.  Science against such bias has continued to be rejected with prejudice, and even with a majority of states legalizing marijuana for health and recreation, righteous peacemaking has still been thwarted for reasons contrary to the greater good.
